A small excursion to the Souni area near Lemesos on the 1st February. A number of orchids are in flower now and quite a number of bulbous plants, including Hyacinthella millingenii, a small endemic bulbous plant in the Hyacinthaceae family, in flower December-January.
A number of insects were seen too, including the Meloe beetle and several Vanessa atalanta and V. cardui.
